rain rfid reader ic In simple terms, RAIN is a passive, battery-free wireless technology that uses a reader to read and write a tagged item, manage the data, and take action. This enables businesses and consumers to identify, locate, authenticate, and engage with every item with a RAIN tag. There are a couple of NFC readers that will be able to read unencrypted cards. I personally use "NFC Tools". But sadly afaik there is no way to emulate on a nonjailbroken iPhone, since .

Industry-leading receive sensitivity for long read range, fast read rates, and support for next-generation RAIN tags—this chip is designed for enterprise-grade readers that identify, locate, and authenticate dense populations of tagged items quickly.
RAIN RFID. UCODE ICs deliver high levels of accuracy and efficiency by enabling new ways to identify, locate, authenticate and engage each item anywhere along its journey from production to the final sale and beyond. With its high read sensitivity, fast programming capabilities and security features, UCODE ICs are being used in various .We offer high-performance, low-power ST25RU3993 RAIN RFID UHF reader ICs that that together with our 32-bit STM32 microcontrollers can help develop small form-factor, low-power RAIN UHF readers.RAIN RFID readers can identify and locate more than 1,000 tagged items per second, without direct line-of-sight. Gateways integrate stationary readers with scanning antennas to locate and track tagged items.
The RAIN Communication Interface (RCI) guideline provides a way for UHF RFID solution providers to build systems that can communicate with any make or model of reader and operate in multiple applications with different reader types, thus eliminating the need for APIs.
STMicroelectronics' ST25RU3993-EVAL board is a RAIN RFID (UHF) reader system based on the ST25RU3993 integrated reader IC. I have the most up to date firmware 15.6.1 on iPhone XR, however I cannot scan NFC cards. I have tried NFC Tools and a variety of other apps but have had no success. Does the iPhone still even work as a NFC reader / writer. I've tried turning off and on, taking out of cover, resetting network settings and some other ideas, but no joy unfortunately.
